I woke up with a stomach ache still. That darn American food will kill you every time!
On my way to Playa Lingua, there was a stray dog looking for food and it kept biting my purse. It must have smelled food from when I would bring breakfast or lunch. Most places were closed, but I stopped at a little store to buy it some crackers, but it disappeared.
Playa Lingua
I had to come to la escuela this morning to pay my bill because they didn´t have it ready yesterday. They gave me a free hour of Internet for my inconvenience. They are so easy-going here.
Matias
Matias, from Hotel Eclipse was finally there. He´s very tall and has a beautiful eye color....grayish-blue (sort of like Daisy´s). He is very nice and I would definitely recommend that hotel.
Gran Bahia Principe Coba
It was very hot in Playa, so I decided to go and hang out at the pool. First I went to the Tulum pool, but some teenagers were diving and then one spit in the pool, so I said "adios." Went to the Akumal, but there weren´t any chairs, so I just went to the Coba. I met a very nice couple from , where else, but Canada. Serge won the beer drinking/belly-flopping contest.
They had Merengue´ lessons and the Canadian couple and two girls from the Chicago area (Morris and Frankfurt) participated.
I ate dinner pretty early and chatted with Gerardo, the Bell Man, before heading back to Playa Del Carmen.
Collectivo
Taking the collectivo is always an experience. There were two ladies from Canada and one of them just got off of the collectivo in front of the Bahia Principe, but realized she left her wallet on the one headed towards Tulum. Our Taxista called another collectivo for them to pick them up and bring them to Tulum.
Our Taxista told me that I could be the Co-Pilot, but I told him that then I would get half the fares.
Playa Del Carmen
I got back early enough to walk around and I stopped by Bar Ranita, but it was crowded, so I just pet Jazz, the owner´s Giant Schnauzer, for a while. She is so cute and didn´t want me to stop petting her. She kept putting her paw on my arm.
I saw a cute art gallery on the same street and the owner was from Atlanta. He was very friendly and his prices were reasonable. I bought a nice picture for my desk, so it will remind me of Mexico.
I ran into Hugo again and he wanted me to meet him at 10:00 to go dancing, but I said, "no gracias".
Hoochie Coochie Central
I think that the benches near the McDonald´s in Paseo Del Carmen are the meeting spot for people who are having affairs after work. Every time I walk by late at night, people are making out on the benches.
Condo
I had another cockroach on the kithen floor (that would be cinco now). I am out of toilet paper now and the cleaning lady was there the day before yesterday and never gave me more. I had to whip out my package of Kleenex. Oh, and the bedroom light still has not been fixed and I don´t expect the owner to fix it before I leave (or probably even afterwards).

La cucaracha! La cucaracha! That should be your theme song for the condo.
I know, there was another one. I still have to blog it.
