Boo Hoo!

It is almost time to come home!

Mom didn´t want to go to the pool today, but there are no other options for her since she refuses to take the curvy road anywhere.

Our Morning
We went to breakfast at Dona Rosa, the main buffet.

We stopped in Club Premium to say "hi" to Alejandra. She is making me a book of idiomas to help me with my Spanish.

We took a taxi back to Santa Cruz so mom could see a bracelet that she liked, but everything was closed because it is Sunday.

Stopped in to Club Premium to check my e-mail and I had a message from Annemarie who is in Thailand right now. She looks like she is having a great time. She will be nice and rejuvenated by the time I see her when we return to the GBP Coba in October.

It is super hot today anyhow, so I think I will be going to the beach and pool.

I walked the beach and got some super-cool seashells. One has the fossil of a baby crab with eyes and everything. Then, I sat in the pool and started book #2. The lady from Mexico City stopped over to say ¨hi,¨and I found out that she is an Ear Doctor and her name is Celida. She invited me to come and stay with her and her daughter at their house in Mexico City.

Talk about a small world! I met another couple, who I thought were French Canadians, but it turns out that they live in Chicago, but are originally from Poland. They live at 7300 W. Forest Preserve Drive (near the Harlem Irving Plaza) and we used to live at 7831 W. Forest Preserve Drive. Not sure why I thought they were Canadian when I know that there aren´t any Canadians at the resort right now. She also looks very much like my sister´s sister-in-law, Donna.

Mom stayed in the room until lunch. We to the main buffet, then to Club Premium for dessert. They have good fresh fruit. Alejandra made me copies of some idiomas to help me practice my Spanish.

I gave Alejandra a good tip and she cried. She is sooo nice.

I walked the beach some more and then I went up and sat on the balcony and got some sun. I also took advantage of the hammock.

Our Evening
We had dinner at the Don Quixote Spanish restaurant, which was great. We had the Rib Eye (have been eating a litle too much red meat on this trip). The room is very pretty.

There was only karaoke at the Jarongo bar tonight, which is very smoky, so we didn´t go. We walked to the shops across the street and then had a drink in the lobby. The stalker lady showed up (she was stalking the other Travel Agent, but couldn´t find her). Now, I really know she is loco because she said that I look like Jennifer Anniston. LOL

Said ¨goodbye¨to Marci at Club Premium and she asked me if I wanted her earings from Colombia, where she is from (but I don´t have pierced ears). She is so sweet. I love the way she says good (like gud!) and beautiful (like bootiful!). Then, she called Manuel even though I told her not to and I thanked him for everything and he wants to meet me in the lobby tomorrow at 10 o´clock.

Went to the room and sadly had to pack.
