Another Relaxing Day

We just plan on hanging out at the resort again.

Our Morning
We came to Club Premium for breakfast. Alejandra was on duty.

Mom tried about 10 different chairs around the pool and didn´t like any of them. She is sooo picky. I like the one´s in front of the pool facing the ocean with the palapas. They are close to everything, but not as noisy and the view is great. That´s as bad as the restaurant-hopping game that she plays.

I walked the beach some as it was overcast, but only for a very short time. El sol came out in full-force and I sat in the pool and finished my book. Mom came over at about 10:30 to tell me that she was going to take a nap because she had a headache. Arggh!

I made a 2:00 massage appointment because I need it! I guess it is not such a relaxing day afterall.

Our Afternoon
I wasn´t sure if mom would want to go to lunch or not, but thought I would check. The main buffet was closed, so we went to the poolside buffet.

Mom was going to look into getting a manicure, so I came to Club Premium for some fruit and a Mimosa. The stalker lady joined Club Premium for the last 2 days. She actually got into an argument with another couple (the one´s who ditched her in La Crucecita....not that it was a nice thing to do, but they probably didn´t know how else to get rid of her).

My massage was very painful. I attribute that to the stress that I hold near my shoulder-blades. Ouch! Lucia was my Masseuse.

I walked the beach some more and then I read my Spanish materials. Mom said she is done with the sun and she is the one who always wants to go in the pool, etc. We still have tomorrow left too.

Today is a red flag day, but I don´t swim in the ocean anyhow. The waves are fierce. The Security at this resort is excellent and the Life Guards as well. They don´t just stand there. I have seen them help people at least 3 times. They are very alert.

Our Evening
Getting ready for dinner and champagne and a cheese platter arrived.

Went to Club Premium and Marci poured me a Bailey´s when Manuel stopped by to say ¨Hi¨. He said I looked "elegant." LOL

We had dinner reservations again at El Agave, the Mexican restaurant. Most of the people on our trip from Chicago were there as well. We had the steak Arrachera, but I didn´t like it as well as the New York Strip.

We sat in the lobby and listened to the live band a little before heading over to the show, which was the Night of Estrellas! It was really good. They had Shakira, Ricky Martin, Shanai Twain and The Village People....nice bodies....wait till you see those pictures!

It was interesting to discover at the show that there was not one Canadian at this resort.
