Azul Blue - Day 3

It began as a beautiful day. We headed to The Globe for breakfast and got our seats at the pool. Just as we sat down, it got very windy and we started to get ready to go back to the room and the cushion flew up and hit me in the face and a Palm Tree branch blew over. Gina calmly said, "Is this a Tornado?" I said, "no, it's a hurricane!" We made it to the room and waited for the storm to pass (maybe about a 1/2 hour).

Then, we went back out to the pool where Freddy hooked us up with some nice double-sized lounge chairs and we are the only one's at the pool. It's mucho calor today! The sun is intense, so I'm sure we will get burnt.

It's like having this place all to ourselves. It is so nice. It's a totally different all-inclusive experience and it's really cool. The service is top-notch. I feel like I should be signing autographs.

Claudia from Guest Services lent me her camera and cord to upload our pictures. That was really nice of her, so that's how you are able to get a preview of some of our pics!

While laying out, a bee flew into my bikini top and I practically ripped it off in front of everyone.

Freddy & Fernando wanted Gina & I (but mostly Gina) to go to downtown Tulum to go dancing.

In the afternoon, it looked like it was going to storm again (as it had off and on a couple times today) so we went back to the room and filled the jacuzzi and sat in it.

We went to dinner at The Globe again. Again, we were the only one's there! It rained again while we were at dinner and our waiter said he ordered it so that we would stay.

Gina said you can dress me up, but can't take me out. I guess she had to see me trip to believe it! Apparently, it's just something that I do well.

We decided to check out downtown Tulum (on our own). There were some shops and Claudia told us about a couple bars. One called Acabar was a Hippie Bar, but we decided not to venture in. I bought a couple souvenirs there (a man at one of the stores loved my "talk". LOL....said I was probably a good singer....I should have sang a tune for him! LOL...All I can say is "Alto/Soprano!"). It started to pour without warning, so we headed back to the Tinto bar at Azul Blue where Gina promised to buy me a drink! It was perfect timing because there was a good band playing called "The Bohemians." We liked them a lot. There was at least one other couple in there tonight besides us.

I guess no one is following the blog because no one is leaving comments. Ahem!
