CDs
I listened to the CDs that help you learn Spanish while driving to/from work today. They make more sense since I attended classed in PDC. I think if I play them over and over, it might sink in eventually.
Aunt Char said that she has some others she will lend me also.
Restaurant Practice
After my hair appointment, traffic was so heavy, so I stopped to get a salad at the California Pizza Kitchen. They were not very busy and the waiters were chatting to each other in Spanish, so I was trying to listen. I think my waiter noticed and he came over to ask if everything was "okay." Then, I told him why I was trying to listen and I practiced a little Spanish with him. He told me that he was probably talking too quickly for me to understand.
More Learning Tools
At Wal-Mart I picked up some very cool pre-printed Post-It Notes with popular Spanish words to help me practice my Spanish. One package is Bilingual Notes to teach 50 beginning Spanish and English words and the other is Spanish Vocabulary Notes to teach 75 beginning Spanish words. (They look really good posted on all of the objects in the house. LOL) While I was there, I must have lost my wood-bead necklace with a cross on it that I just bought in Mexico. It was only $1.00, but I'm sort of sad about that. I called them, but they said they didn't find it. That was the only place where I tried something on, so I figured that had to be where I lost it.
Playa Lingua Book and Notes
I took out my school documents and reviewed them and practiced them. I don't wnt to lose the information that I learned.
Determination
"Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those
who believe."
